Bhopal: Youth kills 67-year-old mom for saying no to his marriage before getting job

BHOPAL: An 32-year-old unemployed man allegedly killed his 67-year-old mother at his home in Koh-e-Fiza locality for refusing a nod for his marriage and asking him to get employed first. Investigating officer SI Pradeep Gurjar said that the deceased Asma Farukh, resided with her two sons Atah-ullah and accused Farhan, 32, a BCom graduate. On Tuesday Atah-ullah found his mother lying in a pool of blood and rushed her to a hospital where doctors declared her dead on arrival.On Wednesday, Atah-ullah spotted Farhan hiding a cricket bat with blood stains. When Atah-ullah asked him, Farhan initially misled him that she feel from the terrace but later agreed to having killed her. He also threatened to kill him too if he dared to inform the cops. When cops rounded up Farhan, he revealed that he assaulted her with the bat. He has been arrested.
